Learning is increasingly becoming a strategic imperative for organizations. The top future skills predicted by World Economic Forum include active learning, resilience, stress tolerance, and flexibility - skills that are best acquired through experience on the job. Sending employees to courses a few times per year, in a classroom environment, is simply not going to get us there.
We believe that in order to support employees to not just keep up with the pace of change but to build the resilience to lead, learning needs to be a continuous and integral part of everyday life and work.
And it’s good for business. Companies that are great at continuous learning are 3 times more profitable and twice as innovative than the average. That’s why you probably have seen progressive business leaders, like Microsoft and Spotify, actively investing in their employee’s ability to learn (learnability).
So the question is, HOW can we develop leaders’ and employees' abilities to make learning an integral part of everyday work and life?
During this session, we will share highlights from research about learning, our takeaways from developing Learnability-capabilities at Spotify and other companies, and together we’ll share and discuss the challenges and opportunities we are facing in our organisations.
Your organization’s ability to continuously learn is your ultimate competitive advantage. Investing in your employees learnability leads to higher motivation, adaptability and effectiveness. We support your journey through our tools and consulting.
